I entered the field of chronic pain and symptom recovery coaching after years of navigating my own persistent symptoms, including gastrointestinal issues, numbness and tingling in my hands, and more recently, pelvic and bladder pain. My own experiences with health and recovery ultimately led me to become a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and Certified iRest® Yoga Nidra Teacher, and to earn a Master’s degree in Integrative Health Studies. Each recovery journey has deepened both my understanding of this work and my respect for how personal the path through persistent symptoms can be.
If you’ve lived with persistent pain or other symptoms, too, you may have spent a long time trying to understand what’s happening in your body and what might finally help. Perhaps you’ve learned about neuroplastic symptoms and feel hopeful about the possibility of recovery, but aren’t quite sure how to put what you’re learning into practice.
As a Neuroplastic Symptom Recovery Coach, I don’t simply walk you through a process. I partner with you to explore how this work applies to your particular symptoms, experiences, and life, and how to make it meaningful and workable for you. This can include exploring the patterns that may be keeping symptoms active and experimenting with ways to create greater safety in the brain and nervous system, relate differently to symptoms, and build new patterns that support recovery.
My approach balances practicality with depth, and active change with cultivating a felt sense of inner safety. I offer a warm, steady, and relaxed presence during sessions, allowing curiosity and co-regulation to support each client’s unique unfolding into greater ease and well-being. Alongside the active work of changing patterns that contribute to symptoms, I have found that recovery often invites a deeper connection with ourselves and our present-moment experience. I often incorporate aspects of iRest yoga nidra into sessions to support this dimension of the work.
Feel free to reach out even if you’re curious but not yet sure about working together. We can have a free conversation to explore whether we’re a good fit.
