Hi, my name is Karen Ash, and I am an ICF-ACC certified coach (International Coaching Federation) who founded Migraine Oasis to support individuals navigating the migraine-specific expression of neuroplastic pain and associated symptoms.  In 2025, I also founded HealABLE Pathways, with a goal of supporting global non-profits like ATNS in their educational mission by planning large online events to spread the word about neuroplastic symptom healing.  See information about our first FREE online event below.

I have lived with migraine for nearly four decades and bring both lived experience and professional expertise to my work. My background includes a decade in pharmaceutical management, with direct exposure to the clinical trials and launch of the first CGRP medication to market. Through my own healing and training in neuroscience-based mindbody approaches, my understanding of pain, chronic stress, unprocessed emotional patterns, and the nervous system fundamentally shifted toward addressing underlying drivers rather than symptoms alone.

My coaching integrates pain neuroscience education, nervous system regulation and resilience, and evidence-informed brain retraining approaches (Neuroplastic Recovery Therapies), trained specifically in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Dr. Dan Ratner’s Columns System, and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET) . I support clients in reducing fear, building a felt sense of safety in the body, and reconnecting with meaningful, engaged lives.

I am a proud member of the ATNS Coaches’ Advisory Council (CAC) and an active ATNS member. I work with an international clientele and currently split my time between Basel, Switzerland, and Naples, Florida (USA).
