Neuroplastic Recovery Nurse Coach
Joanne started nursing children in the NHS in 2001, this later evolved to working in the community as a Specialist Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) supporting families from 2008 – 2022.
In 2008 a car accident sparked 16 years of chronic pain. Mainstream fixes failed, even after becoming a long-distance trail runner and achieve 100-mile ultra marathons while fit and strong she did not recover and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and later ADHD and other neuroplastic symptoms.
In 2018 she trained as a coach as part of her Nursing role and began coaching other trail runners who also suffered with chronic health issues and symptoms. A breakthrough occurred during her Innate Wellbeing Practitioner training, she learned about Dr. Sarno’s approach, and she implemented it 6 months later and symptoms began to disappear gradually over time.
Along with 27 years of experience in health care (NHS) & currently working part time as clinical lead nurse, she is also a Professional Coach & Mentor, Innate Wellbeing Specialist, Holistic Therapies Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner. She is also a practitioner in 3 Principles Coaching.
Her passion lies in supporting active adults and children of all ages to overcome chronic pain and symptoms, safely returning to full activity. Through personalized coaching rooted in neuroplasticity, and guiding lasting recovery.
