About Jim
The Pain PT · Encinitas
Jim Prussack is a licensed physical therapist who has been practicing since 1998. Jim had worked for many years treating traditional orthopedic and musculoskeletal physical therapy conditions in an outpatient setting. Jim learned about Dr. Sarno's work in the early 2000s and at the time was doing a 2nd Master's in Physical therapy in Perth, Australia, where he spent a whole semester learning about chronic pain.
After returning from Australia, Jim reached out to Dr. Sarno, who sent him to Dr. Schechter and Dr. Schubiner, who Jim then spent some time traveling to Los Angeles and Detroit to learn more. Jim then went on to complete a SIRPA practitioner training with Georgie Oldfield in the UK. Since that time, Jim has spent more time taking trainings with Dr. Schubiner, Alan Gordon, Mark Lumley, and has done some preliminary training work in ISTDP with Patricia Coughlin and Allan Abbass.
Jim has also dealt with and overcome many neuroplastic symptoms in his own system using the work here. Things like knee pain, chronic sinus infections, hip pain, back pain, stomach issues, as well as other anxiety symptoms.
Jim shifted out of traditional physical therapy since 2018. He now dedicates all his time to online one-to-one as well as group coaching to helping people worldwide with a variety of neuroplastic symptoms. Reach out if you have been struggling for a while or are not sure if your condition is neuroiplastic. I would be happy to help!
