Living with chronic pain or illness can feel isolating, like your body has become unpredictable, and no one quite understands what you’re going through. You may have tried everything: doctors, tests, treatments, only to be told “everything looks normal,” while you’re still in pain. You might be exhausted, doubting yourself, or bracing against your own body instead of trusting it. If that’s where you are, you’re not alone, and there’s a path forward that doesn’t require you to keep fighting yourself.
I’m a licensed psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over 25 years of experience in behavioral health. I specialize in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS/Parts Work), Mind-Body Medicine, and I’m a Freedom From Chronic Pain Practitioner. Much of my work focuses on helping people heal from chronic and neuroplastic pain, trauma, and the exhausting patterns of self-criticism and people-pleasing that often develop alongside illness. I also draw on my own lived experience with neurodivergence and chronic health challenges, now in remission, which influences how I show up with compassion and practical understanding, not just theory.
My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I see your symptoms as meaningful signals, not problems to fix or things to push through. Together, we create a calm space where every part of you, including the parts that are scared, angry, or tired of fighting, are welcomed. Healing may include conversation, but also embodied practices like Mind-Body Skills groups, breathwork, creative expression, movement, and nature-based practices that help your nervous system settle and reconnect with your body. The goal is relief, steadiness, and a way back to your own inner compass.
I’m based in York, PA, offering in-person sessions in York and telehealth throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, DC.
