symptomatic.me is now neuroplastic.org. Same ATNS, new look.

Start a Group

Each group offers connection, peer learning, collaboration and community. ATNS chapters and special interest groups are led by trusted ATNS Rewiring Project members who bring people together around a shared region, identity, profession or area of interest.

How It Works

Propose a chapter for your region, or a SIG for a shared identity, profession, or area of interest

Submitting the form starts a conversation with ATNS; it doesn’t automatically establish a group

Approved groups get the ATNS Zoom account, event graphics, and branding

Your group sets its own rhythm: monthly, every other month, or quarterly, virtual or in person

Each group has one leader or co-leaders for continuity

Leaders follow shared community standards and stay connected with ATNS through periodic updates, touching base at least quarterly

What Leaders Agree To

Leaders sign a short annual agreement to:

Follow the ATNS mission, community standards, and inclusion expectations

Keep the group focused on connection and education around neuroplastic symptoms; groups are not training programs, clinical supervision, therapy, or medical care

Never present personal views as official ATNS positions

Protect member privacy: no sharing attendee names, contact info, stories, or health information without permission

Share the meeting schedule with ATNS and use the ATNS Zoom account and branding

Record meetings only with advance ATNS approval and participant consent

Notify ATNS of leadership changes and help hand off smoothly
